This officer had a history of complaints against him. The FD is in control of an accident scene, and a Captain (even FD) supercedes a deputy or officer unless it is a CRIME scene, which this was not. The FD Capt wasn’t charged with anything and he sued winning 18,000K in punitive damages, and attorney fees. He is still a Capt. and the officer is still employed.
