The hacktivist group LulzSec has announced that after 50 days, their cruise had come to an end and they’d be saying goodbye. But is this really the end of the hacktivist group or are they just assimilating themselves into the larger framework of the Anti-Security operation, with Anonymous? John Young webmaster of Cryptome.org weighs in.
Everyone needs to stop saying LulzSec is false-flag… you don’t need an evil government conspiracy to LOIC a fucking website or three or ten. If you follow the hacker underground, 2600, etc they will tell you that most corporate sites are very compromised in general. LulzSec was just dramatic, ironic and employed a “full-disclosure” ethic.
It is important however to educate the congressional leadership that breaking down anonymity and encryption will harm us ALL, e.g. the failed Clipper Chip
@TheJoeMacho
facepalm much?
the whole point of lulzsec forming
1 have fun and lulz at government and corrupt bushiness expense
2 inform the masses about corrupt governments and businesses
3 exposes the cyber security industry as a fraud.
4 profit

@TheAsfaloth
the cia didnt exist in 2008?
@signboyy
So were hundreds of government agencies and millions of companies, your point ? and hang on but aren’t they afront for internet control now ?, so why wait 3 years ? sigh really come on man, it’s like talking to Alex Jones, use some rational thinking and quit with the fear porn.
It’s more of a “CyberReichstag”– in 1933 a Communist burnt down that building, allowing the National Socialists to milk the population and suspend democratic process in Germany …not that I think the ignorant teenagers behind LulzSec can get over their egos to admit they’ve played exactly into the Bad Government’s hands… They probably think you can get rich of bitcoins too, lol. LulzSec==Tools
RIP LULZSEC
HELLO #ANTISEC
Lulzsec shan’t be carrying on anymore. Their entire command structure was compromised, they’re through. I hope they’re buying plane tickets out of this country, or they’re going to be in jail for a long, long time.
how did lulzsec get more famous then anonymous? anonymous was first. im not hateing on lulzsec there pretty awesome too
the new player keeps crashing =/, I hate non optional YouTube updates
(non optionaö = all of ’em)
@TheAsfaloth
it is impossible to reply to you when you ramble incoherently
this girl cute :.:
@thatawesomeguy098 Well it’s thought that the founders of LulzSec are ex-Anonymous members. If you look at all the doxes, like The Web Ninjas have provided, you see clear links to Anonymous with members like Kayla and Sabu. So the thought is that these 6 people were high up powers in Anonymous and got sick of not getting the credit, thus breaking off into the group known as LulzSec so they could get their publicity, without having to give credit to the whole group.
‘eventually hacking will become an ordinary skill, like learning to read’ sounds really interesting
BlackkatSecurity.
era una operacion del gobierno gringo los hackers hacen esto como una travesura
simplemente compiten para ver quien saca el programa mas rapido o mas estable
estos no lo eran
lulz
Lulz
lol
2PAC is alive?
CHAMELEONS, idiot
@signboyy I’d say this is probably right, the FBI has it’s hands in many of these hacker rings. I believe it’s something like 1 in 4 as informants.
LOL WTC is behind the guys head.
so groups like TeaMp0isoN would be better?
