Im not agreeing with any side of this argument. However, the question still remains, what would we do without Police. Think about it, many innocent people would really catch hell without the police. Lets face it every system has its flaws, but if it wasnt for law enforcement this place would be total chaos. Murderers, child molesters, burglars, and a host of other crimes would run rampant.

It is easy to judge a situation when you’ve never experienced it. He was stupid for threatening the cops, he shouldn’t have lied about having a fire arm, but the police are paid to be professionals. They lost their professionalism by arguing with him on his level. When the police stated “they do not negotiate” they sentenced that boy to death for something minor. He wasn’t a terrorist, he was a distraught young man who needed someone mature enough to handle this in a wiser manner.

In the 1rst scene i think the police should get an Oustanding Achievement Award for community relations & out reach.Lets be realistic the guy did say he wanted to die quite a few times.In the case were the guy got 70 years,thats the whole blocks fault,people know who really shot up the police car & since no one is telling your all contributing to his mothers grief & the lack of a father for his children.
