and why didn’t they move back if they have been instructed to. This country is approaching Anarchy state. People do absolutely whatever they want to, no fear of police whatsoever.
@ukipatriot The people who assembled there were peaceful, no one was pushing against the police or being aggressive. We _did_ move back when asked to (I’m moving back through the whole video).
Also, 30 ppl smashing things in a crowd of tens of thousands is not the country turning into Anarchy. I was actually really impressed (though not surprised) with the peaceful disposition of almost all of the protesters.
@Smutton1874 did you see all the broken glass after the protest? Burned police car? Finally what was protest about? Canadians live in a beautiful country, they have nothing to protest about.
@Smutton1874 Disturbing the peace is cause for violence, the G20 is not a time to express your opinions in a state that makes you look like a group of mangy dogs, i live in toronto, these kids are pathetic.
Keep it up Toroing Police.
If I were there, I would be throwing stuff at them. I really hate the G20, they wasted like $1.1 Billion on this retarded leader meeting.
@ChaosC50 Watching these videos can give you that emotion, but being there was a different story. The cops were as scared as everyone else, no one wanted violence except a handful of idiot kids who decided beforehand that they would cause trouble.
I agree with the rest of your statement.
@CrucifixionxX Again, only a handful of people who had already decided that they were going to cause damage did anything. Everyone else was expressing their opinions peacefully. Why should people not express themselves at G20 or any other time for that matter? I’m sorry if you think your fellow citizens look like mangy dogs.
@ukipatriot “All the broken glass” wasn’t very much and most of it was repaired that night (probably covered by insurance, at that). The protest was many different groups showing solidarity to each others’ causes against leaders with whom they feel frustrated. We live in a beautiful country and we want to keep it that way, without the ugliness of an imposed police state, not matter how temporary. We don’t want it to go in the direction that cities like London have taken.
i hope Torontonians never forget what the Harper regime did to their city.
I have to disagree with the Toronto police’s idea here. From what I saw, it looked like they had the people boxed in. I’m not sure if they were or not, but that’s what it looked like. Whenever you corner a person, especially a group of people, is when they become dangerous.
fuck the pigs!
