Simple as this: Resisting Arrest and Disobeying an order from a Police officer. Cops are there to do a job and I can tell you that Most cops 98 out of 100 only want to get home to their families. I have been on many ride a longs with my local PD and all they try to do is their job. If you resist arrest or disobey an order from them then you better just comply. If you are innocent then all will be cleared. If you do not like the cops move out of the US and see how you like their law enforcement.

If police officers are ordering you to put hands behind back, lay flat, etc. and you refuse, they WILL use force. The force WILL continue until you comply. Baton strikes to the upper legs are an acceptable way to gain compliance. If it hurts, you can always comply. If one disagrees with the reasons for their detention, this is addressed in court. You DO NOT have the right to resist the police. So, where is the brutal beating?

Thanks to technology this type of brutality is no longer getting swept under the rug. San Jose cops have been in the news quite a bit the past couple years. Mardi Gras is coming up, I’m pretty sure they’ll be some vids to follow of SJ cops beating folks in downtown.
Sucks, I have a few friends in the SJPD. A few bad apples are making them all look bad.
fuckin SJ cops i live here in san jose and some of these guys are just pig headed bullies with badges and alot of them are just straight fucking assholes…i know who the OK cop is and who the ASSHOLE i actually talk to cops at work every so often. fuck police brutality they get that badge they have power and they abuse the hell out of it!
im a Marine OIF & OEF Vet serving as an embassy security guard and theres something called escalation of force. as an officer they teach you that your force is determined by levels of resistence even if a suspect doesnt want to roll over which i dont think is the case here, u cant just beat the shit out of him.
Im from san jose and from a gang related neighborhood. when i was in my teens i was always getting detained by SJPD. i never showed resistance but was treated like i was.
i have family members that have been beat down by SJPD, and its sad to say that most of them are really unprofessional about their business and its sad to see them get protected for actions like this. I want to prsue a career in law enforcment when i get out, but i refuse to serve with SJPD because of their lack of moral values.
