@shitydrumer Leaving your car when a cop tells you not to is a felony, and you get arrested for it if not forced back into the vehicle. Trust me it happens bud. Oh yeah, and these peaceful protesters had every right to be rounded up, since they were denying police control of a volatile situation. Cops do not give suggestions for use to take under advisement. They have rules they have to follow as well. These people were given plenty of chances to leave, but made the criminal act of disobedience.
@BlahBlah5649 yes you are right if you are given a legitimate order becaue you have been caught comiting an offence you have to obey it but a cop cannot just declair somthing an unlawfull gathering. you cannot be detaind simply for being in a public place. have you looked at the charter or constitution of canada. it is basicly there to limit police and gov powers over the people and make sure that the people are alowed to be independent from the gov.
@BlahBlah5649 the so called law that they were suposedly breaking is called the publicworksprotection act it wasput in place to protect police stations and city halls and ect. government buildings. not corprate . this act has also never been tested against our constitution or charter so by that alone the law is null and void. therfor somone cannot be charged or detaind under it. you have to be doing more than associating with somone or being near a riot to be detaind.
@shitydrumer It is unlawful simply because they refused to move. What would have been a good demonstration of courtesy to simply put their protest on hold would have attracted a lot opf good attention towards whatever cause they supported. But disobeying police, especially riot police personnel is an offense and is a display of resistance inciting conflict between authorities and citizens. By standing there, they are potentially causing a riot-like conflict. Please try and see my logic.
@CrouchingHippo LOL
@BlahBlah5649 i can in a way see your logic i know what your trying to get at. if they would have just left it would be alright. try and see this frommy side now. these people are pissed that they dont get heard and they want to get out and show there support for there cause peacefull with no vandalismor violance but then a bunch of idiots come in and distort it and make them look like violant anarchists.
@BlahBlah5649 i think i know your first reaction but to people that really care about there cause and that have not done anything to impose on anyone elses rights are going to question and when all they get is leave or hold the line there not going to obey. im saying that the cops could have easily avoidedall of this. but they wanted to arrest everyone and dub them all violant. i never onec saw a cop do any kind of investigation into anything just battons and sheilds
3 videos in and i subbed!!! cool channel homes
@NARCOPOLO76 shit on video # 4 I unsubbed, still afunnny guy though!
that’s assault, simple…we have probable cause to never trust cops…ever again…
that’s dispicable…
dispicable disgusting police… proud of Canadian citizens who stood up…
He forget to mention that Canadian were forced to pay a $1 Billion (no I am not joking, google it) for this “security”.
Did they really need to mace and swat at them with their sticks? Couldn’t they simply shove them a little . . .?
Military without blood on its hands? Eat shit and die you ignorant asshole. If you really want to think that then look at the Canadian Paratroop Regiment in Somalia, they murdered forty people. By the way, Canadian healthcare isn’t worth shit. I broke my leg in Montreal and all they gave me were crutches. I had to come back to the US to get surgery.
i dunno whats worse you or the cops. you can be anti cops beating up people without being anti american. douche
Cops are sons of whores wherever the fuck you go (no offence to any ladies of the night who might be reading this;-) Throughout history they have always been the loyal lackeys of the elites. Small-membered repressed homosexuals who will be the first against the wall when the revolution comes. as with repo men, politicians and other scum of the earth, the excuse “im just doing my job” doesnt cut it anymore. If you become a pig, you give up your humanity as soon as you don the badge. period.
I like the guys who sit with their backs turned, like they’re trying to make some statement, but get up and try to run as soon as the cops start moving.
If you’re going to run from the police, maybe sitting with your back turned to them wasn’t the greatest idea. Typical idiot protesters.
@KevinDolin Ah Kevin, Kevin. It’s so easy to denigrate somebody else’s courage, eh? Those “idiot” protesters were demonstrating, peacefully, for freedom of assembly, the oldest democratic right of all. They stand with my father, who fought fascism in WWII. They stand with people all around, who risk their lives for freedom. It is the police here, who were remiss in their duty to be non-partisan peace officers. And now it is the police who most Torontonians don’t trust anymore.
@DJpopel That’s actually very true. A law enforcement officer takes an oath that they will put even their own mother in prison. Which means that, you can never trust them. Does not matter if they are your own brother. If you make that one bad mistake. No matter how slight. If they don’t bust you. They will direct their colleagues who will.
@mightymissk I don’t think you understand what the phrase “non-partisan” means. Don’t use words you don’t understand, it doesn’t help your argument.
You can’t trust police anymore, this would have been a good time to bring a paintball gun or baton to hit the police cause either way you’d be going to jail for blowing bubbles…
those police look out people that got bullied during high school lolz!!
This is what it would look like if the Dalai Lama paid a courtesy visit to Lhasa.
One billion for security=one billion worth of bad publicity.
