Alex talks with John Young of Cryptome, a website that acts as a repository for information about freedom of speech, cryptography, spying, surveillance, and documents for publication that are prohibited by governments worldwide. John and Alex discuss the recent release of 92000 classified documents on the war in Afghanistan by the renegade website WikiLeaks. The documents show how Pakistan’s military spy service has for years guided the Afghan insurgency. cryptome.org www.infowars.com www.prisonplanet.tv Wikileaks’ War Logs Highlight Global Intelligence Facade Of ‘War On Terror’ CIA funds ISI — ISI funds Taliban, Al Qaeda Steve Watson Infowars.com Monday, Jul 26th, 2010 The Wikileaks Afghanistan War Logs, publicly released today, highlight and corroborate what we already know about the “war on terror” — it is a vast and decompartmentalised intelligence operation. The London Guardian reports: “A stream of US military intelligence reports accuse Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) spy agency of arming, training and financing the Taliban insurgency since 2004, the war logs reveal, bringing fresh scrutiny on one of the war’s most contentious issues.” The reports are said to have been mostly collated by junior officers relying on informants and Afghan officials, prompting one senior US intelligence officer to describe them as a mixture of “rumours, bullshit and second-hand information”. However, it has been common knowledge for years that the ISI created the Taliban …
Sounds like this guy had a bad experience with wiki leaks maybe he’s being overly skeptical.
thank you alex. people wanna say youre cooky, until your found right. but i felt the same way you did after this conversation. Like a mexican. On the fence.
It does seem rather odd the webmaster of wikilinks he showing his face all the place like he’s a celebrity.
who can i trust
@seanboy80 lol i saw it live on bbc yesterday answering questions, was kinda gay… feels like he loves attention and stuff (not literally)
So, this means that wikileaks isn’t real? They just want fame and money? I hope that wikileaks is a legitimate source of information. But I don’t know. Just like I don’t know if this channel is legitimate. I mean I remember a guest on here talking about we would be in martial law during the 2008 elections and right before it there would be a false flag like 911. It didn’t happen. How about the ‘dots’ on the mailboxes to come and kill us if we have red dots.Fear mongering it seems but who knows
John Young was a great guest.
wow, deep and profound segment.
@seanboy80 i agree.
i would assume if all was above board the govt would arrest him for releasing confidential army documents (National Security Issue)
Instead the media is spinning it as “making the army look like they are covering up civilian casualties on a big scale”..therefore “making the govt look bad”
gotta remember the people of the middle east will see this leak news, and get very angry and have another case against US for murdering innocent people.
this leak serves SO MANY agendas
I was suspicious of wikileaks latest release on the fact that those documents targeted pakistan and got so much media attention this time. I remember the media were silent about the “Collateral Murder” video. And wikileaks was suppose to release a video about bombing of innocent civilians in Afghanistan.
I’m glad John Young lay it all out for us, pointing it out that wikileaks was all about money after all. I think wikileaks may have struck a handsome deal with the pentagon to switch sides.
Now it all make sense to me now, why wikileaks has been holding back videos. They tends to gave so many excuses to hold them back every time they were asked about the afghan innocent civilians bombing video they promised to release. It looks as though they were negotiating for ransom.
However I’m still hoping all accusations about wikileaks wasn’t true tough, and I’m still hoping they will release the afghan video soon.
Another theory is that the gov found him and cut a deal because he is to valuable and has credibility with the public so now he works for them or he goes to a secret prison or gets killed etc. He does not look like a real tough guy that can endure torture and long periods of confinement without a cpu so it would be easy for the US gov to turn him. He has become to high profile something had to be done about him b4 he starts a revolution against the NWO Agenda of WAR.
…as it has been said more times than “give me a big mac” , the 1st casualty of war is the truth. Believe nothing if at all possible (some emergency actions do not permit time to act beyond preprogrammed intel.
~ Yet the truth is immortal & ever present, not possible to hide , always was & always shall be, regardless of sentience or voidence of, to recognize .
-if this seem like a impossible imposition, then that is the place to invoke belief in the possibility that it is not.
= Peace out !
all alex jones does is confuse people
To believe without proof is ludicrous
wikileaks is been awesome, but there is one thing i knew along my way is that we can’t belive 100% on anything, allways think about the implications, who will benefit from the information leaked…
“WE THE PEOPLE”,….
Citizens have VETO power, an absolute right to strike. To refuse to work. To refuse to pay bills, including to The State. Simply put, you veto and you refuse period. There is no law that says you can be compelled to labor. YOU, the citizens, can veto the insanity of Government any time you decide you’ve had enough.That is, if you actually have a pair of balls.
Hogwash and pure bullshit coming out of John Young’s mouth. Wiki Leaks is just the vehicle that delivers the “stuff” coming from the Pentagon.
@182511419139208
Your self, I guess.
it all sounded like a conspiracy theory ,, until 6:26
well, lets be serious here.1000 different scenarios could be thought up,, but If wikileaks all of the sudden does something that ISNT wikileaks and just a month ago the govt said they wanna talk to their creator. Wikileaks may be sending you a message that they arent allowed to be the same site (or to talk about it) if they want to continue living. Its only a matter of time before our freedom of internet speech is gone and we will all have to talk in code.
Alex could be right about the gate keeping thing…
What a terrible guest.. there has got to be someone who doesn’t sound like a bumbling idiot to come on the show..
@brightsorcerer
I’m in the same mind set, the pentagon spokes person on fox news said “any responsible journalist would have given us the information to check” that just reads like we will check and sensor what we wish, this guy also says they should have contact government sources ect.
But why give them a heads up and prepare themselves :S
@james9689 Reading the news today, it makes me wonder. This whole leak really looks planned, considering the circumstances and was used to deflect something far more relevant. It said several billion dollars is missing from the fund that was supposed to aid in reconstruction of Iraq and Afghanistan. The Pentagon once again cannot account for it. Echos of the 911 “attack” on the Pentagon and the only part hit was accounting records. It was pure deflection, IMO. Same old, same old.
only we need one Thing stop the stupid war, spending all money there.
