The public relations efforts of “criminal justice” figures and organizations would have us all believe that they are “public servants” who “protect and serve” us and keep us “safe” from “terrorists” and other imaginary bogeymen, whereas the truth is that these types are, in effect, an organized gang who regard “civilians” as the “enemy”. Many, many police personnel fit the profile of sociopaths, and shouldn’t be armed with lethal weapons–least of all actually paid for their actions.
