I’m sorry if you feel like I’m bothering you. But I feel that we’re just discussing something that we disagree on. You clearly don’t understand the concept of an idea and existence. Time machine doesn’t exist, that doesn’t mean the idea of time machine exist. God doesn’t exist, doesn’t mean the idea of god doesn’t exist. You can say no country in this world practice Democracy, therefore Democracy doesn’t exist. But you can’t say the “idea of Democracy” doesn’t exist in this world.

I’m Russian, and I say situation here is far more terrible than a lot of you might think. EVERYONE know about insolent corruption here, but noone is going to do anything. This is a system which has been working for years. they put a lot of people in jails, kill them, take people’s last money they have, just to keep their own pockets full of money. there isn’t anyone who can/want to punish them, so they do whatever they want. This country is gonna die one day.
Rampant greed will continue to increase until our entire human civilization fails, environmentally or economically. By 2050 we will need to produce 75% MORE food than now, good luck with that stat. Peace.

For centuries, Russia has lacked the proper checks and balances in its public institutions to hold all levels of government accountable to its people.
Honest, hard-working Russians could be asking the question ‘why don’t we have these checks and balances?’; to which, the government’s response could very well be ‘why would you need any?’
I’m thinking these policemen know what the Russian people they are suppose to protect and serve also know: Russia can do better than the way it’s doing now.

This is a problem that infests all of Russia and the government itself. The entire Russian government is corrupt. Putin knows this and so does every politician. They have all known this along with all citizens for decades. Even the American government has been aware of the rampant corruption in Russia for many years. This is not news, this is self-evident.

Everyone in and outside of russia knows the system is corrupt. These policemen are honorable and brave for trying the impossible. The russian people should support them. The government and officials surely won’t.
