This ‘shocking’ undercover investigation of British police by a serving police officer working for Channel 4, demonstrates the sheer extent to which the police have become negligent, lazy and corrupt. But no one should think that all police officers are bad because there are a minority of good police officers who are tainted by the majority. In view of this report it is not hard to understand why Civitas found British police to be “the worst in the developed world”. Even more ‘shocking’ is that none of the ‘police officers’ exposed in this programme were sacked! This is another example of the IPCC acting as the apologists for the police.
The sexist views and actions by the male police officers in this video are horrible, probably the only thing I agree with is the reassigning of her during crowd control and fighting in the streets. Here in America you always see on the news or other program some woman police officer who is accosted or viciously beaten during a physical confrontation. I m not saying its right, but when you see a 5ft 5inch woman being beaten unmercifully on her own dashcam you tend to lean tworads having

I can agree with some points on this video that for the womens sake its dangerouse to have them on the streets on a friday night as there is always a group of absolute d***s that can cause seriouse harm to even a big beefy male copper. But at the end of the day, the female officers have all passed the tests which are the same as any male officer so they are all equally up for the job.
The fitness tests for the Police now days are not of a high standard, I dont think just becausesfemale officers pass the test, it makes them equal to male officers in all situations, such as violent public order. At the same time there are things that female officers will do better than male officers. Its aboutn indivdual ability i think, more than male or female.

I never said all police officers are like this and you would realise this fact if you had read all of my comments here.
I hate most police because they dont speak out against the corruption and injust laws that they swore to uphold, they are puppets who just do what they are told with no compassion or understanding, they are not here to serve the people (even though we pay their wages), they are here to serve the interests of her majesty and her sick government.
At the same time i acknowledge that we do need a police force but just not in the model we have now, it needs a major clean up bottom to top.
I know 2 coppers…both are bent, both endulge in sick porn. It never really clicked until i saw this program. Ive also met coppers out of work…when i worked for NTL, they were also weirdos and nutters in their private lives. I think its fair to assume through my experiences that the majority of police are as depicted in the film.

That’s right. Most of the time they will arrest you without quoting the actual law because they don’t know the laws themselves. They are like minature ROBO COPS–unfeeling, unsympathic, and inhuman to basic common sense.

@pluto4847 whatabout the officer who has to tell a parent their child has died in an accident? what about the officer who’s first on the scene of a domestic where children have been beaten? what about the officer who witnesses the deranged person killing themselves by jumping off a bridge? what about the police officer who is spat at and screamed at and told they are cunts who should die, after arresting someone who was about to stab a youth? Police officers are often insensitive for good reason
If they don’t like the job, resign, end of story. The excuses you list for their misconduct are unacceptable.
