@joe81kill cops don’t have hardons to taze people. Would you rather be hit by a metal baton, sprayed with mace or tazed? The baton will cause more damage than the tazer, the spray is 50/50 if it will work, and the tazer you get right back up and it’s over.

The use of tazers, barring any other circumstances (drugs), is far better than any other less than lethal tool the officer have. Do some research, idiots…

I have a HIGH Heart Rate and I’m skinny – And I’m pissed off and I get tasered (justifiable or not) I would probably die from heart problems. Tasers CAN AND DO KILL PEOPLE. We should Ban tasers and hire better cops.

Tasers do not effect the heart. You don’t have to believe me, read the research. It’s pretty simple, if you don’t want tasered, then do what they tell you. I have actually studied the use of force, if you do anything that is different than what they say, they have the right to non-lethal force.
Do some research yourself. Most of the deaths that involved the use of tasers also involved the suspect being on a massive amount of drugs. Odds are, the suspect prolly would of died of an overdose.
Taser’s do not show any effect on fetus’ so tasing a pregnant woman is actually not against any rule. I would prefer them to avoid it, unless there is simply no other way to control the suspect.
And… Let’s see Tased = 5 seconds of pain, physical fight = weeks/months of pain. Moron

never post anything bad about police anywhere we got a visit from police about posting negative remarks on hear about police it made our life hell until we moved away my brother who stayed there has been stopped over 30 times for different things mostly traffic stuff and followed around town every time he leaves home police can make your life a living hell so be careful about posting negative remarks about police you might get a visit from your local police.

You people need to go to some criminal justice courses and learn the life of a police officer and the risk he takes going to work every day of his life. Here’s a tip, don’t yell at the police, don’t walk/run away from the police and just don’t commit crimes in general. I’m under assumption that a few of you here have brushes with the law. For those of you who are black who are all against police, maybe look at your demeanor when confronted by a officer. Do you comply or do you “wild out”?
