Am I seeing the usual thing of these guys yelling at people that they’re sinners and God hates them, in order to provoke anger so they can claim they are “righteous” because they’re being “opposed” and “persecuted”? This type of pointless “preaching” just slides right into blasphemy, because we end up with a God who must hate EVERYONE (showing another absurdity of sola scripturists). Pray for them all

now I can see the video. it’s worse than I thought! Okay, my first thought (and I’d never want to defend these guys) is that “oh, maybe somebody hacked his account and posted that to get him in trouble.” But now it appears he must have posted it to try to “show how bad those people are.” Of course that does make him a class-A hypocrite for calling OTHER PEOPLE perverts when does posts porn on YT
@XSC3 Right. he did do it to show how bad because it happened on a public street during a decadence celebration of some sort. Had it been in a private situation, with the children absent, and the people there agreeing to view such things that would have been one thing, but there was no concern shown for decency in uploading that. I seriously question what these people are doing when I see the way they act and treat others as ‘preachers’. Thanks. God bless.
@BeingBob yeah and the thing is, really, in a person like his theology (assuming he’s sane, that is), he should regard ALL sin as worthy of death and hell, right? So while it may be “shocking” to see two guys engaged in a public sex act, it’s really no more “damning” than someone not loving God with their whole heart or not trusting fully in Christ or telling a “white lie” or lusting in their heart, etc. I mean, right? So it serves no purpose other than to “shock.”
Are sins worse because they’re “gross”?
I mean, there are ways to sin that are pretty “clean” and nobody sees them. If anything, you could say these public sex perverts might be less culpable because they don’t think what they’re doing is wrong (or they’d be trying to hide and cover it up). Maybe not, we can’t read their hearts. But I see this sort of thing as just gloating over the downfall of others and your own (presumed) holiness. Seems pretty dangerous to me, either way
yeah and good point. the thing is, what those guys were doing (the recording of it) is porn. that means there are people out there that are willing to pay money to get off on that. hence, by posting that video, one could say he’s enticing other people to sin (never mind the youtube rules). wouldn’t it be enough to say “people were having sex in public, isn’t that awful?” otherwise we should show hardcore porn movies in church, because that can now substitute for preaching against sin, right? :P
