This is an outrage and there must be an official inquiry that is well publicized. The exploitation of the Indian workers is also a crime. I am an American who has been to Anguilla many times and loves the place and the people. Why are there police from St. Vincent and the UK? Shouldn’t the police be Anguillans ? Even if the island remains part of the UK, there has to be more self-autonomy.

I would never condone police brutality but Anguilla is turning into the island from hell. It used to be amazing but the past few years have seen such a huge rise in crime – so many vacationers have been shot / robbed etc.. The Island blames it on the availability of MTV & Rap videos – Seriously! ….

Anguilla will always be beautiful. And especially the people. that’s why they have to make their mark. Probably this is the only place on earth where things don’t change that much.
That’s sad. You’ll always get violent crime when societies are made up of a tiny super rich elite and a poor majority, as seems to be the case in Anguilla. Am I right in saying this Dwyane fellow is an amputee? And the cops attacked him? If that is the case they are nothing but fucking cowards.
