Please watch Abuse Videos #1 through 5 first. This is Video 6 – The next set of EMTs (FDNY EMT) don’t know what Myasthenia Gravis is either, and are also in no rush to provide me Emergency Medical Care. The 49th Precinct Bronx cops still refuse me medical care, continue ridiculing me, and continue to ignore legitimate harassment complaints, allowing 1F to participate & photograph me. It’s worse… Please watch these in #order. It’s not over yet…see abuse video #7 After years of …
Okay, look, your self indulging little pity fest is pretty sad. First off, stop pretending like you have a life threatening illness. You don’t. Pancreatic cancer is a life threatening illness. Mysthenia Gravis is a still debated diagnosis that has many co-symptoms with clinical depression as well as classic drug seeking behavior. I wish you could work in a cancer ward sometime and see what people with REAL chronic pain actually look like.
People who aren’t aware of this disease should take notice. Life threatening disease or not, police harrassment should not be taken lightly.
nyc14gauge For the record, if you think chronic pain is a symptom of MG, it shows how ignorant you really are.
Okay Mr NCY14GAUGE I am sure your a cop . Educate yourself on the disease.I lost a family member from it . Direct your anger elsewere .
You need to start at the beginning of the series of tapes. Live here for a day with the people downstairs. Live in a Myasthenic body for a day. Ask the neighbors behind me why they are moving out after only a few months. Try yahoo groups -read from others with MG and learn.
degraded, let me ask you, honestly, how many times a month do you call 911?
nyc14gauge talk is cheap.you talk a real tough game but would be the first person to quit if you sufferd any ilness or lost any limb PLEASE.Police are the biggest actors every thing that happens stress exagerated back injuries a little nick on their pistol shooting finger they look to get out on 75% diability tax free for life.Stop the tough talk police look for any so called disability that every person has to go to work with to get their lottery .
for my disease – NEVER! This was my first 911call because of MG symtpoms/for an ambulance.
Let’s see, I once had a severe leg injury that left we unable to walk for about 2 months. After months and months of painful physical rehabilitation, I was able to repair it and finally go back to work. I guess I could have claimed permanent disability, said I had PTSD and “painful leg syndrome” and say everytime it rains it still hurts like hell, but I was raised to adapt and overcome. Something this country could take a good lesson from.
So you routinely place “spy cams” in your apartment? How long did it take you to set up the whole operation prior to placing a 911 call for your “life threatening illness”. All I can say is wow, you have some major foresight skills if you just happened to be rigging your apartment for A/V surveillance and then out of the blue was struck by a sudden life threatening illness. Calling 911 so you can make a point is not cool.
You are very cynical, I’m sorry, you must be miserable. The camera was put up by my neighbors in 2R & I because my nasty neighbors in 1f have wild drug parties in the hall, lock us upstairs, threaten us, pee on doors etc. we were afraid, the weekend before was hell in this building, us trapped upstairs while crzy things go on downstairs. you need to watch a nasty neighbor video & tell me you’d feel safe in a building where there are no locks, intercom,& druggies in hallway blocking your exit.
So maybe you should like… move?
Who hasnt had an injury that set us back in life. But if you ever been arrested by an overzealous officer for an expired drivers license by 3 days or an unmarked bottle of generic MOTRIN yes it has happned to me.And once your cuffed you treated like every other criminal. And to wait in a cell once for 3 days to see a judge to to it was a holiday your perspective of police COs and the whols system changes.
Sorry for the typos my point if you ever have been put through the system which I feel everyone in life should your perspective changes.Agian to get arrested for unmarked generic Motrin by an overzealous officer who thinks he has a drug bust put in a cell with the real animals for 3 days to see a judge only too say SORRY.Some times sorry is not good enough your treated like a damn animal all due to a officers stupid judgement.
hi degradedmyasthenic. i’ve watched most of your videos in the series, and sorry to see your neighbours, and the police of all people, have been treating you so badly. i hope you can move ASAP, and get some legal recourse for the police and their negligence. perhaps a tidy settlement from the 49th precinct would help set you up in better accommodation..
As a fellow myasthenic, i’m annoyed to read some of the ignorant comments on here. I had to suffer with the condition for some time while everyone, including doctors, thought it was psychosomatic. it wasn’t until my highly positive blood test and positive double blind tensilon test came back that everyone had egg on their faces, and the neurologist wondered how i was still able to get out of bed. only just i can tell you!
people downplay the seriousness of MG, because its sufferers are rarely in wheelchairs and with medication, can often lead pretty normal lives. doesn’t mean it can’t end up in myasthenic crisis or flare up from time to time.
mestinon is a wonderful thing though.
Hi. I had similar circumstance. It is frustrating that people don’t understand and choose to remain ignorant about MG symptoms.
