After so many race baiters have had over a week to claim that the neighbor called in “2 black men breaking in…” to the Gates house, the truth comes out: no description of the race of Gates or his driver were offered by the neighbor UNTIL the dispatcher asks what the race of them was, and even then, the female neighbor says, “maybe Hispanic” for one of them, nothing about “black” or “African American” for either of them. So many people who screamed “racism”, “police abuse”, and “racial profiling” about this case now have egg on their face, but will they be honorable enough to admit they pre-judged the conditions of this Gates arrest?
UM what I am saying is that in the title you claim: “So many people who screamed “racism”, “police abuse”, and “racial profiling” about this case now have egg on their face, but will they admit they pre-judged the conditions of this Gates arrest?”
I am just commenting that the fact that the lady who called in didn’t mention race does not IMPLY OR PROVE that the cop DID NOT USE racial bias. Thats all. You cant conclude anything about the police officer’s conduct from this call.
DUMBAZZZZZZ!!!
Why are you such a douche bag argos?
Again how can you conclude anything about the police officer’s conduct from a clip that only displays the 911 call?
Is this a lil bit……RI-DON-CU-LUZZZZZ?!?!?!
Did you NOT hear dispatcer tell the caller at 2:36 to wait outside at the scene for the police? When Crowley arrived she hailed him and they spoke face to face.
There is no disagreement on this fact, by Crowley, Wayen, the other officers, Gates, or Gates’ attorney.
Stop making shit up.
so if there’s a dangerous criminal committing a crime the police officer would put a civilian in harms way before investigating the circumstances?
it is not illegal to insult a police officer. in fact the law states that disorderly conduct requires other actions besides speech, look the damn law up you ignorant fool
I guess you CAN take the Harvard out of the BOY!
LMAO!!!!!
Race Card….Don’t leave home without it!
LMFAO!
I don’t see the connection. The suspects in question are inside the house. The caller is outside the house and in the company of at least one other person.
I think it would be a rare event where a burglar goes outside to beat up people. Maybe I’m wrong (I’m not an expert) but I’ve really never heard of one.
Your right you can disagree with a cop all you want. No problem. You are correct speech is no basis for arrest. Howver, loud speech that causes persons to “stop snd stare’ or otherwise change their usally behavior is disorderly conduct, which is a chargable offense.
Basically, while you have the freedom to say anything you want, the public has the right not to listen to your bullshit.
Crowley lied in his report, he said the witness said they were two black males which the witness vehemently denies and the call shows evidence in her favor. You are to racist to admit the cop lied when it’s obvious he did and therefore I am inclined to believe that you just wanted to take the cops side in the first place.
but who decides how loud is actually loud enough to get arrested? the cop was obviously trying to show Gates who was boss and therefore arrested him. Didn’t Crowley lie in his police report about what the witness said? He said she told him there were two black males which the witness denies and the 911 call shows proof of. So he could have also lied about what took place. It was obviously a petty charge otherwise the charge wouldn’t have been dropped which proves my point that it was unnecessary
Cool! Check out what really happened that eventful day! ! WHAT PROFESSOR GATES DOESNT WANT YOU TO HEAR (AUDIO FROM ARREST).
Listen to the verbal abuse that came out of Professor Filthy Mouth!
HI Allenr10391
The way it went down (the media didn’t really report this well) was after the 911 call thet you hear here, Crowly was dispacted to the scene to meet Wayland.
In that face to face with Wayland her tells her he’s “i’m going in”. He then askes her “So there’s only 2 people in the house”?
She says “Well, i don’t know… I only saw 2 ‘black men’ go inside”. Crowley says “OK, Thank you” and goes in. That’s how it got in the report.
Did you hear audio of this dialogue you’re describing? The witness who called denied talking to the officer on the scene and I am inclined to believe she’s telling the truth; this also means that Crowley is lying.
Look up the law yourself Fool. Gates wasn’t charged for his speech Fool. He was charged with being loud Fool.
Allenr10391 take that white boy’s dick out of your mouth so you can actually SEE and READ the law book and quote for all of article of law that supports your theory.
Because they were two black men.
Irrelevant and immaterial my friend. The only legal questions are.
Did Crowley have cause to question Gates?
And in doing so did Gates cause a disturbance?
Keep in mind you can be charged for disturbing the peace for singing too loudly in your bath tub.
It wasn’t his neighbor. It was a woman that had just had lunch in a nearby eatery.
If it WAS his neighbor they’d have said “That gimpy, booze swillin’ womanizer Gates has locked his arrogant dumb ass out of the house again.”
Allenr10391 disturbance has various levels (just like theft has petty theft (petty larceny), theft (larceny) and grand theft (grand larceny) which is a felony.
Tumultuous Disturbance is a felony but requires acts like brawling etc. speech alone does not warrant that felony charge. The lesser charge of disorderly conduct can be issued for any act which causes a person to turn there head, break their stride while walking or simply shifting the glance of their eyes due to an action.
what if the burglar is armed? What if he sees the police and starts shooting? You can never be to cautious.
So by your definition sneezing can be construed as disorderly conduct. That’s just absolutely ridiculous. The officer arbitrarily charged Gates. Who determines how loud is actually loud? Being loud is speech, he was being loud(supposedly) while TALKING. Your argument is one of ignorance and total denial f the facts; Crowley is a liar, who charged Gates unnecessarily to show him who was boss.
Allenr10391 Once again read the law. Yup you can be arrested for sneezing. That’s why you say “Excuse me!” It just depends on the person you are annoying.
Allenr10391 I feel really sad for you that you cannot comprehend “quite enjoyment”. Where do you live? Boom Box city? All Americans (cops included) enjoy the the right to peace. When you “mouth off” it’s on you pal.
READ THE LAW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
just shake and hug and apologize. it aint to late to apologize. not to late to apologize. sing it. not to late to apologize. 10 feet of the ground.
Well someone who was educated wouldn’t demean someones educational level because of typos. I am a computer programmer my strength is math not grammar, if you want to test knowledge based on what you are good at then lets based this on mathematics and computers then lets see who is not a “college student”
I don’t think someone with any real experience in computing would take insults made over the Internet seriously. Perhaps you’re a fraud in that regard too?
