Amazing, the corruption that has been going on across the state, and high up beyond the force to the CMC, and known to most of the public for most of the last decade – 7 news have finally uncovered. (no wonder TV stations and traditional media are losing market share to the net in droves) Watch this corruption get covered up also. (oh, the whistleblower will be crucified for opening their mouth of course, courtesy of Argos or others). BRING BACK FITZGERALD – and the gallows !
Do I understand the local terminology correctly? The police are being accused of widespread corruption so are investigating themselves? Uh, historically, that doesn’t work all that well. Maybe CMC stands for something else – a separate organization with the power to subpoena, make arrests, bring charges & prosecute?
@thizizliz yes, investigate themselves. As u can see this doesn’t work. They set up the CMC years back for this purpose, but all this has achieved is set up an extra higher “police force” that has no regulation or oversight and seems to do little about corruption. No one seems to get prosecuted. Whistleblow about corruption in gov departments and you will have a good chance of discovering first hand (the hard way) what their real function is – to shut this sort of thing up and discredit them.
