Seven year old Daniela Earnest says she got into the lemonade business because she wanted to help her family pay for a trip to Disneyland. But, the city shut her down saying her stand was operating without a permit. After seeing her story in the paper, a local radio station gave the family 4 2-day passes to Disneyland.
That is so cute, look had that guy just kept with “Hey Sweetie its too dangerous here lets move you somewhere else” I would have totally been like thats cool, but come on a little girls lemonade stand operating without a permit? Seriously I want my taxes back. Dont you people have more important, more serious things to work on. ill tell you what my father always told me if you dont have work let me know and Ill find you some work to do, Im offering that as well to these officials.

Well, I understand that blewis9505 but, in reality it’s not like this is going to be her career, and she’s cheating the government out of thousands in tax money. I remember having a lemonade stand when I was and kid. It lasted a few hours and I lost interest. Occasionally a nice person would drive buy, stop and buy a cup just to be nice. I didn’t make much money. Should parents have to go out, apply and pay for a license for something so harmless? I mean, girl scouts sell cookies.
As far as my comment about the government goes, I just can’t believe some of crazy, idiotic issues it’s wasting OUR tax money on! One state wants ban and jail people for swearing, one wants to take away a parents choice to circumcise the infant. Arizona has cameras spying on their whole state. Health insurance!!! Girl scouts register their product and obey the rules to sell. It isn’t about tax money or the government as much as it is about teaching kids to do things the proper way at the outset. If you teach them to skirt the rules and disregard laws you may wind up with a Bernie Madorff some day. Worse a Spitzer or a Sanford. Unappetizing to say the least. Teach kids right from wrong or get ready to mortage the house when they screw up later on,
