Now we get to see which employers value their employees and which ones view them as chattel. From my experience, most companies fall in the latter category.
This neverending encroachment into our personal lives really pisses me off, but I’d also say do whatever you have to do to get the situation resolved in your favor though, it’s a tough economy out there.
i dont know what its like in the US but here in the UK if someone went on my facebook and then fired me because of my views that would be wrongfull dismissal and i would sue for serious cash.
actually there was a story here in the UK about a year ago and some dude took a week off sick and then posted pics of him on holiday on myspace. He got fired for that. Dumb shit.
i recall another case in the US, where it was said a rape victim enjoyed her life after rape because she was happy on fb
