So, your inconvenience would have been avoided if-only you had parked in one of the many open spaces available to you at that hour, instead of waiting in a fire zone; do we have that right? And you probably would have left without any hassle if you had simply acknowledged you were in the wrong instead of being so defensive. Some battles are not worth fighting, esp when you are wrong, even when it’s just a small technicality. Save the big guns for a real injustice. “Gee!, I’m in a fire zone?”

@snowbird29803 The technical term for a car stopped, running, and with the driver inside the vehicle in a fire zone is “standing” in most places (the term varies), not parked. The guy in the video is 100% in the clear and the officer had no reason to hassle him, therefore the detainment in question was a civil rights violation. Please learn how the law works before arguing it.
The cops wouldnt handle it this way in most places in the United States
