The Catholic church has continued over the centuries despite a history replete with scandals and corruption; with violence, greed and the worship of power. The church preaches humility and sacrifice while flaunting its wealth and authority. The colossal hypocrisy of that institution is without equal and its control over the faithful through fear, shame and guilt is absolute.
