I do not trust CPS at all. Me and my sister almost got taken away by those people. We never got abused or neglected my parents are good parents and it was because of one fight between my parents that CPS had to go crazy and was at our house everyday asking us a whole bunch of questions and we almost got taken away. They wouldnt let my mom come back to the house for like 7 months. I do not trust these people and no one should.
@beenerkillz you do NOT need a bachelor’s degree to be a social worker, i know SEVERAL who don’t have one… it takes very little training to get a job as one, and most of the ppl hired are young college kids who haven’t got a clue how the real world works… CPS IS given bonuses, they get one just for removing a child from the home, and thousands more for adopting them out… you should really educate yourself on this… watch don’t mess with texas CPS, and look up nancy schaefer to start

Social workers according to State University website for Education and Training with Advanced degrees states that the Salary Median for social workers is $34,820 per year GROSS. To become a CPS worker as mandated by the federal government you need a Bachelors degree with a major related to the field to be allowed removal or placement of children. So in other words its one of the lowest paid 4 year school jobs. The Federal government does not give bonuses.

It is parental protection in missouri. i turned in a father. he smokes weed, his daughter fell and broke her collar bone, he refused to take her to the doctor, his oldest daughter said that he hits her. they haven’t seen a dentist in 2 years. their school said they needed to see a dentist. yet when cps went there on two different cases, they have said theclaims were substantiated. take kids from those who parent. leave them with abusers

Can you hear us now, CPS? Children need to be with their parents unless clear evidence of repeated abuse exists — this principle is the best way to err on the side of protecting the child. The CPS way is to err on the side of covering their hind-ends and increasing their funding through child placements away from their homes and families. This is criminal intent and grounds to put the entire CPS crew in jail and throw away the key. CPS abuse will continue until they are stopped.

Ah a system freak, well, I have full evidence of abuse which has taken place in this adoptive home in Missouri. Care for the name and address of the adoptive parents?, maybe you could contact them for themselves.
Sonja spent 5 years finding her daughter, whilst she still retained care of her two other children, there was systemic abuse going on in this household and still is. CPS for there part chose to ignore it.
