Fishing supplies can make up the difference in a fishing trip, and a GREAT fishing trip. There are so many different supplies that are available to the public, but are all of these supplies really needed? NO! It all depends on what, where, and how you want to fish.
In general, a rod, reel, line, hooks, and bait are needed. The basics. Many different things factor in depending of what you are fishing for. Catfishing tends to be “bottom” fishing, for example, so you would need to add weights to your tackle box. Bass fishing can vary depending on weather, so you would have to research the local weather before going to see what you might need. If the water is cool, Bass tend to be closer to the banks in shallow water, trying to catch some heat from the sun but in hotter months, they may make their way to deeper, cooler water. My point is that different fish will avail to different things. Research what the fish likes before going, so that you can be prepared.
As well, when bringing certain fishing supplies, you are going to want to know what real bait that the certain fish are feeding on in their environment already and try and mimic that.
Alot of anglers like Bowfishing. Bow fishing supplies are alot different than that of a rod/reel angler. Bowfishing is really fast pace and takes quite a bit of skill. Let me tell you, once you get into a school of fish, bowfishing is extremely fun. It is alot different than traditional fishing but also very fun.
There are several different types of fishing. Freshwater fishing, saltwater fishing, ice fishing, bowfishing, fly fishing, and so much more. Depending on which type of fishing that you are going to do, determines exactly what type of supplies that you will need for your fishing trip. Fishing can be sport, or another form of hunting food for your home. If you are in it for the sport, then you are probably looking for the best of the best when it comes to fishing supplies. If you are not in it for the sport but more for hunting food for your home, or commercial business, then there is no need in fishing supplies to “break the bank.” You don’t NEED all of the fancy things to have a good time, and catch fish. It is all about preparation, and reasearch, and once you have got your information and have everything ready to meet the needs, DELIVER.
